39th AA Conference: Applying our Astrological Craft

7-9 September 2007

Please remember to book for this year’s AA Conference! This year’s great line-up of speakers include Melanie Reinhart, Nick Campion, Rick Levine, Darrelyn Gunzburg, Sue Ward, Bernard Eccles, Jane Ridder-Patrick, Judy Hall, Christeen Skinner, Babs Kirby, Alexander Schleiffen, Graeme Tobyn, Claire Chandler and a host of tutors from APAE-registered schools for students.

Many branches of Astrology will be covered, so book for your place and workshops now to avoid disappointment! Bring your partner and let them make use of the venue’s facilities which include golf, a spa, water sports on the lake and an indoor swimming pool (available to all residential delegates).

The Astrological Association not yet a Company Limited by Guarantee 

Due to factors outside our control, Council have been advised not to change the Association’s identity on 31st March 2007 as we had planned and notified you in the previous edition of Council News.

We expect the circumstances that caused this administrative delay will be temporary and, as soon as they have cleared, Council plans to proceed as outlined previously.   

This means that the changes to your membership status have not taken place. You remain a member on the same basis as you have always been. We will notify you in advance of the change being made in a future Council News.

Notice of Annual General Meeting

AGM date Saturday 8th September 2007, at 13:30

Any member of the Astrological Association of Great Britain may submit to the Annual General Meeting:

a) Notices of Motion

b) Nominations for Vice-Chair and Vice-President for three years

c) Nomination for up to six other Council Members for one year

The Chair must receive all motions and nominations, duly roposed and seconded in writing no later than 2nd June 2007. Two other embers must sign all motions. Nominations require the written onsent of the nominee.
