Kevin Audley - Appeal for information

An initial harmonic analysis of the solar longitudes of several thousand doctors has produced some intriguing results in relation to specific factors first conceived of, and investigated by, John Addey. If anyone can provide the harmonic analysis, H1 to H180 inclusive, or the degree by degree totals of a planetary distribution of people that share a common quality, I would be most grateful. Such qualities could be the same profession, or a biological trait such as left-handedness, hair colour etc. Solar distributions are very often collected but I would welcome any planetary distribution. Wendy Cartwright - Oxford Astrology Group

The Oxford Astrology Group is resuming meetings at the Friends Meeting House, St Giles, on Wednesday March 12th at 7:30 pm, thereafter, the second Wednesday of the month. Meanwhile, Channel 6, the Oxford Channel, now has a regular Astrology slot once a month during its 'Six Life' magazine programme which is broadcast live to the whole of Oxfordshire. This is basically a broad look at the Cosmic Picture and some Sun Sign Astrology done by, er, me. This has been going on for quite a while, but I've afraid I've only just managed to organise myself to let you know. Never mind, better late than never, Email Wendy

Benson Bobrick wrote to say that in May 2002 he received the Academy Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters at their annual ceremonial in New York. "I am a professional historian, not an astrologer, but when I was young, and penniless, an astrologer gave me a reading that has proved remarkably true in this and other spheres. Venus, she told me, rules your Ascendant, Taurus, and stands high in the 10th, in trine to Uranus in the Second, Neptune in the 6th. Public honours in the arts are foretold.... That seemed to me most unlikely at the time. I also knew nothing about astrology. Even now, in looking back, it seems to me that all that hard, solitary writing done at home (Saturn, like an anchor, or plumb line, in the 4th) holds the key. My 8th book will be published this October by Simon & Schuster, and is about the American Civil War. "

Cathy Meek of the Scottish Astrological Association wwrites "Glenda Cole and myself have just started a networking group to be found at astrogroups@smartgroups.com . We have invited as many groups as we could find to join us. It gives people the chance to advertise their events and share information etc and at long last we are able to find each other! Now it is up and running groups are able to add their own information and it should run itself."
