Lilly Plaque

Update

by Anthony Demetris

Westminster Council have finally given approval to the erection of the plaque in memory of William Lilly as reported in the last issue of Transit. The unveiling ceremony will take place on Monday 15th September 2003 at 11 am at the Strand, London WC2. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at 10:20 am outside the disused Strand Underground station nearby.

So far I have met all the expenses and need to raise money to cover costs. If you can help in any way, no matter how small, please send a cheque made payable to: Anthony Demetris (Lilly plaque appeal) to 22 King Edwards Road, London E9 7SF UK. If you have any queries please email me at Email Anthony or phone me on +44 208 510 0858
