Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?: The Relationship Seminars Part 2 - Composites
with John Green. Do you ever wonder why other people see your
relationship so differently than you do? A composite chart is a
separate entity to both you and your partner and shows what your
relationship is really all about. It can show us the joys and problems
involved in a relationship that are not always obvious from synastry.
We will also look at how transits, progressions and directions to the
composite show us how a relationship will develop over time. There will
be some time for charts so bring along composite charts if you wish.
(You do not have to have attended Part 1 to come). Time 10am - 5pm.

Playing Detective: Unusual Charts and Remarkable Lives An LSA
seminar with Frank Clifford. Without case histories with timed events
and detailed biographies, our study of astrology remains largely
theoretical. As devoted as we may be to the study of astrological
symbolism, without cases to explore and biographies to examine, we
cannot see how the planets work in real lives.
Using a set of infamous horoscopes (some of which have never before
been seen) and drawing from fascinating biographies, Frank will show
how these events, traits and life stories can be spotted in the
horoscope. Rather than blindly fitting astrological symbols to people’s
characters and life events, we’ll be using biography to enrich our
understanding of the horoscope.
During this day, we'll also practise synthesising conflicting themes
written in birth charts. It’s a seminar of 'playing detective' and
seeing how life histories come alive in the horoscope – so prepare to
investigate charts with a difference…
Venue: Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London (opposite Euston station.
10.30am to 4.30pm. £45 (or £40 for current/past LSA students).
Please send your payment to: LSA, BCM Planets, London WC1N 3XX, enrol online and/or call the office with CC payment details: 0700 2 33 44 55.

Breaking Through: an Exploration of Uranus in the Houses
with Lynn Bell. Uranus asks us to break pattern, to step over the
boundary of the ordinary and the expectations of others. How much are
we aware of this unpredictable energy in ourselves and it’s impact in
our birthcharts? Wherever Uranus is found, we are asked to be singular,
to go beyond and sometimes against the prevailing mood. We become
misfits or agitators when Uranus is pushed into the unconscious, and
may experience breakdown or misfire in the area of life symbolized by
its house. At the same time Uranus can electrify our lives, awaken our
daring, as well as jump start innovation and creativity. How to handle
its erratic, on and off again influence? Bring sample charts on
acetate. Time 10am - 5pm. Cost: £50. Venue: London. Centre for
Psychological Astrology, BCM Box 1815, London WC1N 3XX. 020 8749 2330. www.cpalondon.com cpalondon@dsl.pipex.com

Is newly promoted Ceres still a mysterious squiggle in your horoscope?
Then you're tuning in nicely to her energy! It's not a coincidence that

Venus: The Gardening of Love with
Darby Costello. From the earliest times the planet Venus has been
connected to Beauty, Joy and Love. But it seems her gifts carry a high
price - once having felt the power of her kind of love, many of us long
for the beauty of it ever after, as much as we fear the suffering
caused by its loss. In the morning of this seminar we will look at the
history of Venus' personification in literature and poetry from the
early days of Mesopotamian star worship until the High Renaissance
astrology of Marsilio Ficino. In the afternoon we shall look at Venus
in our natal charts, exploring what it says about our inherited
impulses towards beauty and love. We shall examine what hooks us
psychologically into 'falling in love' , whether it be with a person,
an animal, a house or a country - and what our Venus tells us about how
we deal with the loss and pain of loving. Time 10am - 5pm. Cost: £50.

Rhythms of our Lives: Working with Forecasting An LSA

tool to fit a particular astrological assignment. We’ll also look at
the impact of singular, life-changing events and how these can be
triggered periodically later in life.
As well as looking at Frank's new work into 'Shadow Transits', we'll
also discuss the importance of major life phases, and, using your own

The Astrology of Film with Clare Martin. Films
provide us with an important vehicle for the imaginative and creative
exploration of the archetypal patterns and life stories which reside in
our birth charts. Our reaction to films is always intensely personal,
and films that attract or even repel us reveal internal truths about
ourselves, played out before our eyes, in projection. When we need to
watch a film repeatedly, we can be sure that it carries important
personal messages which we need to absorb, process or work through.
These messages and stories reflect unresolved patterns and themes in
our birth charts and, in this sense, films can have both cathartic and
therapeutic value. Please bring your birth charts and a story from a
film or fairy tale which has personal meaning for you, and we will
consider how stories can illustrate important aspect patterns and other
major themes in the birth chart. Time 10am - 5pm. Cost: £50. Venue:

The Spinal Column of the Chart
with Liz Greene. Some Approaches to Basic Chart Interpretation This
seminar will explore some basic routes into understanding the birth
chart, helping to provide a means of synthesis and a way of
illuminating the essential themes underpinning the individual life
journey. It is meant to be a practical seminar addressed to all those
who have difficulty in retaining the sense of a whole individual in the
face of the proliferation of astrological techniques and significators
which so often results in information overload. Behind the individual
astrologer’s approach lies the important issue of what we wish to offer
our clients, and the philosophical and spiritual value-systems we
espouse that justify and colour our work as astrologers, which will
also be examined in the seminar. We will be exploring individual charts
throughout the day, so please bring your chart on an OHP. Time 10am -

Twin Flame or Soul Mate? A
one-day workshop with Judy Hall. Many people are looking for a
soulmate, but you may change your mind after this workshop!
We do some of our most powerful growth through our relationships with
others.
Relationships can be challenging, and rewarding. Many of our
relationships have their roots
in past lives. We know we have met someone before, we may even feel
that they are a
soulmate. And yet, a soulmate can bring us grief as well as joy. In
this workshop we will
explore some of the astrological and past life reasons why this is so.
As our relationship
experiences can also have their roots in our past behaviour and the
expectations we carried
forward into our present life, we will also look at our ingrained
patterns of relating - and our
expectations around love. In the second half of the workshop we will
look at the concept of
Twin Flames – a soulmate without the karma attached, a companion for
our journey and
whether this can be identified astrologically. This workshop could
revolutionise your
relationships!
Judy Hall is an internationally acclaimed author and astrologer, and
has been a karmic
counsellor for over thirty years, and the Astrological Association is
delighted to welcome
Judy to Stroud for this inspiring workshop. Venue: The Space,
Lansdown, Stroud GL5 1BN(close to Stroud station).
Cost: £35 for AA members – or just £30 for members if you book
before 31 May 2007! Non-members can join for the day for an additional
£10. To book your place, send a cheque to: The Astrological
Association, Unit 168, Lee Valley Technopark, Tottenham Hale, London
