The University of York has
a vast modern exhibition Centre with well equipped lecture
facilities, comfortable residential accomodation for more
than a thousand people, plus a rural campus and lake -
all just a few miles from the ancient city centre. Leeds/
Bradford International Airport, with flights from its
hubs of Amsterdam, Brussels, London Heathrow and Paris,
is an hour by road from the University. York rail station
is two hours by fast train from central London.
Dr Nick Campion writes:
“York is claimed to be the birthplace of Constantine,
who reunited the Roman Empire, legalised Christianity
and laid the basis for the next sixteen hundred years
of European culture. Now we're at the gateway of the third
millennium, how do we, as astrologers, take this forward
into a global era, in which we can play our part in enhancing
understanding between cultures?”
